O2 Concepts designed the Independence Battery with a high energy density to match the Independence concentrator’s class-leading performance output. The lithium-ion battery pack can power multiple hours of therapy, including approximately 3 hours on the lowest setting of pulse and continuous flow. The more realistic settings of 2 LPM continuous flow and pulse setting 2 can be powered by a single battery for a respective 1.25 and 2.8 hours. When teamed up in dual battery configuration, the Independence battery doubles the performance duration (2.5 hours at 2 LPM and 5.75 hours pulse 2).
